The Epicurean is the name of a biweekly column I wrote for the newspaper of the University of Groningen, the UK. It started in September 2011 as a means to broaden the culinary horizons of our small city in the north of The Netherlands and it became one of my favourite activities while it lasted through the end of 2014. You can click on each photo to view the recipes or try this link to view some of the articles as text. I hope you enjoy it.

I still remember your lamb-and-chestnut turkey stuffing, and very fine roast potatoes.

Roast chicken sounds delicious, will try next week. I would also drizzle some lemon juice mixed with cold pressed olive oil. Looking forward to more of your recipes. Cheers!

What about us vegans? How about a nice vegetable terrine. Overnighted to Los Angeles….

Sounds great – I miss coking with you at Thanksgiving. Always was good stuff.

Oh man, I still remember a dinner on new year’s eve at your place. The Turkey Wellington was incredible.
